For dinner each night food will be plentyful and ideal for hungry cyclists preparing for another day of cycling in the Mountains. There will also be plenty of local cusine on offer giving you a real taste for the regions of Switzerland and Italy we travel through.
Just Pedal are pleased to be official tour providers for the 2015 Etape du Tour. A world famous closed road cyclo sportive that follows a different mountain stage of the Tour de France each year one week ahead of the pro-peloton. We are able to give you the unique opportunity to cycle this iconic event and also watch the pro’s on the same course one week later. If signing up for our Tour de France cycling week you can either select ‘entry only’ or join us for 3 more days at our Etape du Tour weekender saving £250 on the combined cost.
The Etape du Tour 2015 will take place in the Alps on Sunday 19th July 2015. Replicating stage 19 of the 2015 Tour de France from St Jean de Maurienne to La Toussuire which we attend on the 24th of July. It is a classic Alpine stage with as main feature the climbs of the Col du Chaussy, Col du Mollard and Croix de Fer. Like last year there will be a sting in the tail with the ascent of La Toussuire. At 138km it is an attractive proposition for both the experienced cyclo sportive rider and the Etape du Tour novice.
The professionalism, attention to detail and friendliness of Rob and the team made Raid Dolomite a truly unforgettable holiday. Thank you. Ronan Carter, UK

After the success of our self-guided Raid Dolomite we are pleased to add the Raid Alpine challenge to our calendar for 2015. Slightly shorter but no less demanding than it’s Dolomite counterpart we ride this iconic route from South to North starting at the Mediterranean and finishing on the shores of Lake Geneva. With 31 cols, and nearly 15000 metres of climbing, including the highest road in Europe, the Raid Alpine is a European cycling classic.
For those looking for a super challenge or ‘Super Raid’ The Raid Alpine is timed to finish in conjunction with the start of Raid Dolomite creating a sensational ride across Europe from the Mediterrenean to the Adriatic. Booking both at the same time also saves £200. Email us for more details on how to book.
