Ride to support Bowel Research UK

For 2022 the Bowel Research UK cycle challenge will see riders completing the iconic Wales coast to coast route from North to South.

Riding through some of the UK’s most scenic and dramatic landscapes this is a ride not to be missed and will raise vital funds for Bowel research projects.

Provisional Itinerary (Subject to change after recce, risk assessment)

Sept 28th:  Arrive Conwy

Sept 29th Day 1: Conwy – Aberystwyth 141km / 88 miles 2360m climbing

Sept 30th Day 2: Aberystwyth – Brecon 117km / 73 miles 1999m climbing

Oct 1st Day 3: Brecon – Cardiff   90km / 56 miles 1231m climbing

prices / extras

3 Day Ride, 4 Nights accommodation (twin share)

Bowel Research UK are providing two options.    You can pay the whole cost yourself and then raise as much as you can or there is a subsidised rate with a fundraising pledge.   You decide which one is best for you.

Option 1: Full payment of £1400 raise as much as you can.  

Initial registration of £450.  A further £450 payable by 1st June and final £500 by 1st August. 

Every penny you raise goes to the charity.

A discount of £50 for anyone who signs up by 31st March.

A further £50 discount for anyone who is a member of the Dukes’ Club or the Association of Coloproctology Nurses.

Option 2: Part payment of £450 – £2,000 minimum fundraising target

Registration of £450 reduced to £375 until 31st March. 

A further reduction of £50 for anyone who is a member of the Dukes’ Club or the Association of Coloproctology Nurses.

Fundraising target to raise £1,000 by 1st June:  £1500 by 1st August and £2,000 in total

Single Supplement: £55 per person per night 

Canyon  bike hire:  £195

Other Information

BIKE HIRE

As the only official Canyon Experience Partner in the UK we have a number of fantastic bike hire options available from basic road bikes up to elite bikes and E-bikes.  If you require a hire bike for the ride or want to demo a Canyon please select at check-out and contact us to secure the ideal ride for you.

INSURANCE

Although not compulsory for UK riders on this event, it is highly recommended to have a personal accident insurance policy when attending a Just Pedal cycling event. Also, your bike should also be fully covered by some form of insurance policy.  

Our insurance partner, Yellow Jersey, provide comprehensive holiday insurance specifically for cyclists and can also provide insurance that covers your bike against damage and theft.  Guests of Just Pedal also receive a 10% discount using the code ‘JUSTPEDAL10’    Click here for more information.
