The Drinks Trust and The Wine Trade Sports Club Foundation are pleased to present for its second year The Harvest Tour, a dedicated industry three-day cycling tour. The bike ride will take place from Friday 27th September to Sunday 29th September, with the aim of raising valuable funds for The Drinks Trust, the drinks and hospitality industry charity.   

 

This year, the peloton will embark on a journey starting from Bristol – London with an average distance of 120 to 140km per day. Our brave riders will pay visit to drinks and hospitality businesses across the route, taking the opportunity to celebrate our fantastic industry and charity’s supporters. Visiting drinks and hospitality businesses along the way not only creates a unique and memorable experience for the riders but also provides an opportunity to celebrate and showcase the fantastic industry that supports the event. 

It’s a great way to connect with local businesses, share stories, and appreciate the contributions of those involved.

The Wine Trade Sports Club Foundation and The Drinks Trust are looking to recruit 40 riders on a first come first serve basis, to participate in the Harvest Tour. 

As per 2023, the registration fee is only £395 for 3-day bike ride, and again this year, we would encourage each participant to raise £1,000 for The Drinks Trust.

Single Supplement: £60 per person per night 

Pre-event accommodation in Bristol: Price TBC

Elite bike hire:  £195

Fundraising

This will be a fundraising event with the ambition of providing vital revenue to support the work of The Drinks Trust in assisting, restoring and developing the drinks and hospitality workforce.

All riders are encouraged to raise £1000 for The Drinks Trust

2023 Fundraising Highlights

  • The Drinks Trust supported 5,000 individuals in the drinks and hospitality industry
  • The Drinks Trust spent under £720,000 across its services supporting industry people
  • Our 24/7 confidential Support Line received 1252 calls, which is around 105 calls a months
  • This year, our DEVELOP programme trained 840 individuals to become the next generation of the drinks and hospitality industry workforce

Route Overview
